Everyone always recommends a nice candle as a gift, but how much use will they really get out of it? If it's a Kobo candle, the answer is A LOT.
Made here in the US, Kobo's garden candles come in a variety of great scents like wild tomato vine or crushed mint. They burn for about 60 hours and the fact that they're soy candles make them easy to clean and reuse as a drinking glass.
The boxes that house the candles themselves are also great because they have seeds embedded into them! That means you can soak the box, let is sprout and plant the box to grow whatever plant your candles smelled like.
Now to really bring it full circle, buy a crushed mint candle, grow a mint plant from the box, and then use your cleaned out candle glass to make a tasty mint julep. How's that for repurposing?
