Prism is hiring an experienced retail sales person to join our staff as General Manager. The ideal candidate will have boutique retail experience, management experience, and be comfortable & confident with social media and community engagement.
Pay starts at 36K + a year, depending on experience. Monthly sales bonuses are also available.
Description:
- Retail Sales
- Managing small staff in scheduling, sales training, product knowledge, sales goals and bonuses.
- Social media management and expansion (good photography a bonus)
- Online store management and shipping execution
- Hiring and training new employees
- Inventory oversight, and new product receiving
- Coordinating payroll with accountant
- Coordinating collaborations with designers & artists
- Compiling monthly sales reports
Qualities/Qualifications:
- Excellent people skills
- Previous retail sales experience
- Management experience
- Ability to motivate others
- Organization & attention to detail a MUST
- Willingness to think creatively, solve problems efficiently and without stress
- Must be friendly, open, non-judgemental
- Style and taste that aligns with our company
