Young American Creative: Helping you eat fresh

We've all been there, scouring the grocery store produce aisle seeking out the ripest avocado/tomato/pear only to get home and find it tasteless or just too underripe. The grocery store always have it, but it doesn't mean it's in season. Sigh.

Young American Creative is a duo set out to help. The San Fransisco-based pair has used their combined knowledge of graphic design and fabrication to create beautiful posters with information on what fruits and veggies are in season.

The 13x19 posters are printed on thick, recycled chipboard with foil-pressed colors. The minimalist design makes them ideal for the kitchen to remind you what kind of produce you should keep an eye out for each month.

As if it couldn't get better, they also have a seasonal seafood poster. This can not only help you get the freshest fish, but also help enable a more sustainable approach to seafood. YAC partnered with the Seafood Watch Program to conduct a comprehensive research project of which fish and shellfish can be sustainably consumed each month.

To pick up one of these helpful (and beautiful!) posters, stop into Prism today!
